Jackie – Jacqueline F. Neeracher

Jackie has been a passionate photographer since she was fifteen years old. After she got member of several local photoclubs and began to participate on competitions where she figured several times in the first ranks. She attended many courses and workshops, so that she was hired as a photographer and editor at the Swiss Hairdressing Association. She loved doing reports from fashion shows in London, Hairdressing workshops in Lapland and Djerba as well as in Switzerland. With engagement she expose again and again her pictures in exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad.

Jackie has a special fondness for moving, blurred and zoomed images, which are indeed abstract, but have always a beautiful appearance. Some of those are simply mystical because the picture was taken at the right place at the right time. Recently, she deals with herself. The self-portraits with hat are first seen in Lianyungang / China.

Jackie began with a simple Minolta, only or sun or clouds could be mentioned. Later she met a professional photographer who discovered her talent and procured her a Nikon FG with a tele and a wide angle zoom objective. The first digital camera was a Minolta again. Today Jackie take pictures with a Nikon D800, Leica V-Lux 3 and Leica V-Lux 30 / Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ31.

Jackie never leaves her home without a camera. She's always ready to take pictures of what is fascinating her. Besides photography, Jackie is interested in traveling, literature, theater and film. She prefers to enjoy the performances in the original language, because she speaks five of them. In wintertime she enjoys skiing in the swiss alps and in the warm season she swims every day for almost half an hour.
